God is on the throne! Even though we are forced to change gears in accordance with world and local events, we are not shifting our focus or vision!
We are going to be transitioning to livestream services effective immediately. We will be conducting our FULL SERVICE SCHEDULE and we are challenging you to make a commitment to engage in this with a greater level of faithfulness than ever before. Our service times will remain the same, as well as our prayer before service. I challenge every household to adopt a schedule and pattern of involvement. Gather your family 30 minutes before the service for a time of prayer leading up to the start of the livestream service, worship with us as we worship, answer altar call, the key is PARTICIPATE! Don’t use this time as a “vacation” from church or accountability, but use it as a time to get closer to Christ. Hebrews 10:25 (NKJV) “not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as is the manner of some, but exhorting one another, and so much the more as you see the Day approaching.”. Obviously we can’t physical be together in our services, but we CAN join together in action and spirit. At the bottom of this letter you will see instructions on how to participate in our livestream services. We will also be having LIVE concerts and other events with testimonies, etc... You can invite family and friends to participate at specific times. A schedule of events will be posted soon.
We are a church that believes and participates in WORLD EVANGELISM. We do all that we can as a church to help the EL Paso church support their missionaries and domestic outreach churches. As you give, please consider the fact that you have brethren that some of you know personally, that are far from home, without the comforts and securities we take for granted. They need to know that the El Paso congregation HAS RISEN TO THE CHALLENGE as we endeavor to join with them! There are full instructions for online giving below.
Our mandate, “Go into all the world and preach the Gospel”, is intended to be fulfilled ESPECIALLY in times
like this. Our focus and calling is to do everything in our power to see the Gospel of Jesus Christ spread. We are launching a new evangelistic campaign online, HOPE4LA.LIVE. To put it simply, it’s a tool to get the Gospel to people that are more open and fearful than ever before. We are going to be limited over the next few weeks in our ability to bring the Gospel to people face to face, but we CAN direct them to a resource that can answer questions and bring them to Jesus. I want to challenge every single person reading this letter to begin to direct everyone you know towards this new resource. You work with people that are afraid and don’t have answers. Tell them that your church is going to be livestreaming messages of HOPE, direction, as well as prophetic explanation of the times we are living in. You know people that have never had the intention or desire to attend church, but now we are living in a different world. The new link HOPE4LA.LIVE will be a resource for past relevant sermons and information, as well as a live countdown to the next livestream service or event. We will also feature testimonies and other types of evangelistic materials to touch the hearts of those that need Jesus. Do everything you can to get this link into the hands of people in need, text, email, add it to your website if you have one, lets believe that God to will cause His Word to touch more people than ever before. Acts 8:3-4 (NKJV) “As for Saul, he made havoc of the church, entering every house, and dragging off men and women, committing them to prison. 4 Therefore those who were scattered went everywhere preaching the word.” We are not under the threat of physical persecution, but the church is under assault from being able to function according to its traditional methods. Let’s continue to “scatter” the Word of God through new methods and opportunities.
Now is not the time to hibernate or retreat, now is the time to move forward and win the world for Jesus Christ! Our own city of Los Angeles, not to mention world, are ripe for revival! John 4:35-36 (NKJV) “Do you not say, ‘There are still four months and then comes the harvest’? Behold, I say to you, lift up your eyes and look at the fields, for they are already white for harvest! 36 And he who reaps receives wages, and gathers fruit for eternal life, that both he who sows and he who reaps may rejoice together.”
